Milky tea is good but the cake is very dry I tried three different cakes three different times and they were all very dry and customer service was very rude short red hair lady is So! Mean! And yelled at me! and I gave her five dollars and all ones for three dollar order and she never gave me my change back and then gave me an attitude when I asked her for my change and then she yelled at me.never coming back, I’ve also had a weird experience in front of the store I was waiting for my husband and one of the workers came out stared at me and walked behind me very close to the building didn’t say excuse me and then walked into the back door, Maybe she was wondering why I was standing outside of their business I also am Muslim and maybe it’s a race thing but every time I come in here they seem very annoyed with me and rude like I’m bothering them never coming back I feel very unwelcome with the attitude that they give me, And also why be upfront as a cashier and you can’t even speak English I’ve heard other Americans coming here and they had same lady refuse service because she wasn’t Chinees and couldn’t understand her so they want them to order fast and leave it seems like, very Low Class business and they only take cash? Weird
Chinese bakery and cafe with lots of affordable options. Women preparing the food were busy but expedient. Picked up congee and tea eggs for breakfast for under $4.
Everything I have tried here is great. The long line can be intimidating but it usually moves quickly. Very busy place so it's good to know what you want. Super cheap too. I plan on getting a birthday treat from them this year because of how affordable and cute their cakes are.
This place is two blocks from my tax accountant, so I get to go there about once or twice a year. The cakes are so great, I bring cakes to my account's staff. I also want to get one of all the fine cakes they offer. I would give them a 10 star. Great place to shop. Staff are great.
Best place to get cake for any occasion. While the flavor is consistent, the density of the cake isn't always consistent. Also the best price around. The cakes are always just the right amount of sweetness, perfect for the older people. Whether you buy food, baked goods or buy something that is packaged to go, everything here is well above average tasting. There's a line if you go in the morning, not everyone respects the line so it's up to you on how aggressive you want to be in the morning.
Alot of pastries and snack choices. Very clean and friendly. Will be back
Staffs are have no common sense and super bad attitude. It’s 2022 now. They still run the business like this.
Love this local place. Alway a line especially weekends but the pastries, breads, dim sum and steamed crepes are always fresh so worth the wait and they have a good lineup so never too horrible of a wait. Great prices with huge variety of items. In my opinion, one of the better bakeries that serves cooked food. My favorites are the made-to-order steamed crepes, fish ball, egg tarts and the mochi desserts. Give it a try when you're in the area but if you are in a rush and want the freshly made steamed crepes, call ahead, there's a separate window now after covid for pick up. They usually have way more stuff than the menu but here's to give you an idea. Whatever looks good when you get there probably taste good as well.
Very good food, better then most.
I went there looking for grilled meat dumplings on advice from a reliable source. But when I tried to communicate what I wanted. There was miscommunication. I still order 3 orders of pan fried meat dumplings which were still very good. But my primary goal was to order a healthier option of dumplings. Either Grilled or Even Steamed. But the price compared to ordering Dumplings from a regular restaurant or takeout can not be competed with. Highly Recommend if you are looking for a pan fried option.
