The worst experience I’ve ever had at a carvels. Cashiers were rude. Said they wouldn’t be able to put fudge on a sundae because the cup was too small…. It’s fudge… liquid it pours over ice cream. Doesn’t take up that much space. Felt very rushed to order. The picture of my order included chocolate chip toppings. There were none. I asked if chips came with it I was told no while staring at the picture with chips on top. Horrible customer service. I understand business can be busy but customer service is key.
Their ice cream cake for a birthday or other occasion is pretty good. The regular soft ice cream is ok, personally I prefer other kinds of ice cream. But it's for sure a fun store.
I love the vanilla ice cream a lot. Very fresh, very delicious. The staff are really nice and there are many options other than ice cream too. The air is very cool as well. Recommend this place. Me, my mom, and brother enjoys it a lot.
GREAT PLACE TO GET ICE CREAM! I have been going since the opened with my dog, daughter, wife. She loves coupons, they even take expired Carvel coupons! The ice cream is always fresh and good, but the staff there make it an even better experience, very courteous, very positive atmosphere. Worth the extra sit ups I have to do afterwards!
The employees here are usually the nicest you’ll find in all of NYC. The selection of ice cream and cakes is the same as any other Carvel but the great employees are a reason to come here if you’re in the neighborhood.
They have excellent service! Definitely know what they are doing. What really caught my eyes were the green tea and Thai Ice Tea flavors. The employee guaranteed Freshest Ice Cream in America :D
Can't go wrong with Carvel, always friendly staff!
amazing service, they actually like to help and are very nice. been here a few times in the last few months, and every time my order is always good... the staff are friendly and nice, the icecream is always on point with flavor and texture and the hot fudge, is always purfect
They have good ice cream and I enjoy there weekday and Friday deals such as the BOGO stuff
This little Carvel is a gem along 18 avenue. It's different from the other Carvel's that usually only carries the usual suspects, because this one has some unique flavors that I can find in Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. It's like someone wanted to play around with flavors and took advantage of the equipment that Carvel provides. And, to make things even better, it's cheaper than Chinatown Ice Cream Factory by nearly 50%. The staff is nice and friendly, serving you with that smile. Of course, the selection is kinda tiny for the more exotic flavors, but the quality is there. I had the thai iced tea and it was crazily creamy, with that little hint of deep thai flavor. I didn't try the others yet, but I'm happy to go back.
