Avalon Nails Spa

I was recommended this place by my grandmother. Avalon is the only nail shop she is comfortable going to since the pandemic.Such a beautiful place with a nice atmosphere. All of the employees were very nice to me and my mother. The person working on my nails was very gentle with them and made sure I didn’t have any pain taking off the previous set. I love how they take walk ins and are kind & nice regardless of having an appointment or not. I have been here twice already and have not been disappointed! Love their nail art, time management and customer service. I am very picky with nails because I was raised around it my mom is a nail tech and I can definitely say my expectations were met 100%! If I could give 0 stars I would. Last Wednesday me and my friend went to this nail salon to get manicures and pedicures. I got a gel manicure and pedicure that totaled up to $108 including a 20% tip. Their service was mediocre at best. They started with my pedicure, I requested a get a sparkly white gel polish for my toes. The young man that did my pedicure was alright but felt like a rushed job. Also, they ended up putting the wrong color of polish on my toes even though I confirmed my color twice. They changed out the polish for me which was cool I guess. Afterwards, I got my manicure which was okay I really like the shape of my nails and the young lady was nice. However, the reason why I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone, is because not even 24hrs after getting my nails done my nails began to chip. It hasn't even been two weeks and all of the nails on my hand have chipped off. My toes have yet to chip but I'm sure it is only a matter of time. My friend that got her nails done with me got dip and has had 2 nails already chip. This is absolutely ridiculous! If people are paying over $100 for nail they should at least stay on for 24hr!?! The nail polish that they use is cheap as f*ck and you are better off taking your money else where.Service: Gel manicures

It's a great salon. Not super fancy, but efficient. Started going to Avalon when my place closed. Glad the search wasn't to grueling. Good cleanliness, good prices. Seems like the best time to go is on Sundays before noon.
