This was my first and last time going to this salon. I can’t speak on behalf of all the staff at this salon, but the lady that cut my hair did a very poorly job, I think her name is Yullee she has long dark brown hair and she had it in a pony tail, she also had a few tattoos on her left wrist. At first everything went well, but as she was cutting my hair she cut it in less then 15 min. Took a call (which I don’t mind, but she proceeds to say “I will call you back in 5 minutes) and she had barely begun too cut it. She as well cut way more then I requested, we are talking about 3 inches more.

#1- over half the staff was rude and clearly do not like their job. One was called up to look at a picture for reference but instead gave me a dirty look and asked “what?”, #2- the woman had black hair and was pregnant. Not sure of her name but has a bad attitude. She called over another guy who had blonde tips on the top of his hair to help me instead. #3- through the process of getting my hair dyed he had an annoyed look on his face and was clear he rather go back to talking to his coworkers because, he then went over to get hair bleach and stayed there for literally 15 minutes and when I looked over he was there having a conversation with the rest of the staff in the guest waiting area. #4- He teased my hair to get an ombré effect. He teased my hair so much it literally looked 5 inches shorter. #5- My hair was so tangled from teasing I ended up with a lot of fallout. #6- he missed a piece of hair at the front which I thought he’d get back to but never did. DO NOT RECOMMED. Would give it zero stars but not an option on here.

I've been coming here for over five years and I live 35 minutes away. I was sick of the hacks (pun intended) at Great Clips and Fantastic Sam's so I decided to go outside of my comfort zone. They predominantly speak Spanish but that's never been an issue for me. My man Luis speaks English and is incredibly talented! Everybody here is very talented. $14 bucks for my haircut and shampoo. They are typically busy on the weekends. If you're a gringo like me and want a different experience with incredible results, visit Avandaros!

Very good services and prices. Salon is clean and stylists are awesome! Kendra Oros is the best makeup artist!
