My student was great & gave me & excellent haircut. She cut my hair exactly as i requested & the manager did not have to correct her on the cut. Extremely satisfied! Every one was nice and courteous. I booked another with the same student.

I have gone here many times in the past several years and am happy to be a customer. I have some amazing cuts and some that were good, but not as amazing. In all cases, though, the instructors were available to guide even the least experienced students. I've also had good experiences with pedicures here. Better, actually, than any of the other places I've gone. The biggest downside for me is the extra time it takes for the still-learning students, but the bargain price for a good services makes it worthwhile.

I knew this was a school and the students are still learning. I have a short pixie that just needed a trim. They could do that right? Wrong! Check in was awkward. When I was waiting my stylist came and got me. She was so quiet and didn't make eye contact. I thought she was the person escorting me to the salon not the person actually cutting my hair. When she asked what I wanted she got really confused. I should have left then. I even had a picture! She took my phone to go talk to her instructor. I wasn't actually expecting her to take my phone. That was weird. It was a while before she got back. Luckily she brought my phone back. She and the instructor went over the hair cut. Honestly a pixie trim. Pretty straight forward. She took me to wash my hair. I would have been better off taking a shower. She basically poured shampoo and water over my face and in my ears. I should have dried my hair and left then. She pinned my short soaking hair back for 10 minutes. She cut twice and got nervous and left. She came back with her instructor. This happened twice before the instructor just started cutting my hair. It's terrible. There's a hole in back. My ear got nicked. It's the worst hair cut I've ever had. All I needed was a trim. And since the instructor is the one who basically did the entire cut what the heck? I now get why the "master student" was so terrible. The instructor gave me the worst haircut of my life. And all I needed was a trim! Even checkout was terrible. The master student started talking to the cashier about the schedule and didn't check me out. This went on for 5 minutes before someone told them to wait and check me out first. Oh and they don't let you add a tip for their terrible services to your credit card. I knew I would have a student cutting my hair. I didn't know it would be so terrible and I didn't know the instructors couldn't cut hair either.

Today was my first time going to get a pedicure at Aveda. I was excited to try this service out as I have always had great luck with trims in the past. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service as well as the staff. They offer about 15 different polish choices, most of which are different shades of pink. So don’t go if you’re looking for more fall colors. While we were being shown to our chair, a worker is complaining about their client right in front of us - very unprofessional. We get seated and 2 of the girls were bickering about someone not cleaning the tub.. in front of about 4 clients. They do not use cuticle clippers or toe separators. Unfortunately, this is one of those ‘you get what you pay for moments’. Additionally, the polish peeled off about 5 hours later for no reason. Don’t waste your money.
