I was assisted by a contractor named Ms. Theresa. Even though she was not an employee of Ulta, but a specific brand in the store, she assisted me with the tedious challenge of locating a red lipstick to match my tone. She is definitely experienced and selected the perfect tones without me having to sample 6. Now, I did sample six before she stepped in and saved the day! I thank her times 10!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Only giving it 1 star since it is the lowest possible rating. I will NEVER come back here to get my hair and makeup done. I went this weekend to get my hair and makeup done for prom. BIG MISTAKE! Let me just say, the girl who did my hair and makeup, Marissa was very sweet, however she cannot do makeup well at all. This was my first time getting my hair/makeup done here. I did not know that the people there have little to no experience. The makeup used is all tester items. Same goes for all the brushes. There are no beauty sponges, so they HAVE to use their hands and brushes. You end up looking streaky and gross. The girl who did my makeup did not match my skin tone at all. She made my natural, full brown eyebrows BLACK and BOXY. It was horrible. I thought it was a joke. The makeup was so cakey and did not look well at all. The brushes stunk so bad!!! I’m not even sure if they were washed prior to being used. The bronzer/contour was not even blended well at all, so I ended up looking like a clown. It looked like a squid mark going across my face. Extremely embarrassing. The girl didn’t even use concealer on me!! THE SERVICES ARE WAY OVER PRICED FOR THE CRAPPY MAKEOVERS YOU GET!!!! DO NOT DO WHAT I DID!!! GO GET IT PROFESSIONALLY DONE!! Once we checked out, the girl at the register knew something was up. I was sobbing. She couldn’t do anything about it. I wasn’t so embarrassed to even be seen in the store looking like a clown. I ended up having to go home and do it myself. As inexperienced as I am with makeup, I did a better job than she did. BE CAREFUL!!!

I went here for the 1st time even though friends warned me not to. I was greeted with a "hello" from the girl at the register. I went left, walked from the front to the hair items in back, turned right, walked all thru the makeup looking for a particular mascara, back to the front & left. 1 girl was appling makeup on some1 while another watched. Another girl was on her phone while another 1 was talking to her. No 1 asked if they could help. Only reason I'm giving 1 star is because of the greeting. Wasn't crowded either. Guess I will go to Macy's for my product.

Great customer service, Aidan was very pleasant and super helpful. I will definitely keep coming back to this Ulta!
