Long line, no kiosk, no clear signage, waste of valuable time. Employees not able to give "estimate" of wait time which with 20+ people in line and two Avis employees the answer=LONG wait! The management could definitly plan better to provide some level of respectable customer service.
The most crucial job of any service such as this during these times is to ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of their cars. The car we rented out today was awfully dirty with pretzel crumbs and stained seats left by previous renters! Shame on you Avis for eating away people's money and for not following protocols!
Worst avus experience. There are no directions for drop-off which is worse than most airports. After calling and asking for checkout procedure, had to then go back to the car from the checkout desk or face a $25 fine. Staff was unhelpful. Terrible end to a good rental. Do not use this branch
Great car. Terrible Avis service. Confusing. Terribly slow. They’ve been in business for many years, how come they’re not more efficient for drop off, and better labeled for pick up?
Hassle free pick-up and drop-off. Good customer service and very considerate to allow drop-off at a certain time based on pick up time if no other bookings.
Nice experience. Little bit issue with car cleanness in Jersey city mall dr location but other things are fine. In such pandemic situation. they should provide sanitized and clean car. Price wise its better than other vendors.
I rented a car to ride to NC to pick up my children. The car died. Literally died. They kept transferring me to OnStar who wasn't answering the phone. That was just one issue. The car had used tissues in both front doors. I fully plan to contact corporate about this. They have an almost 900 hold on my card for a dead car.
