Baby’s on fire is a coffee shop and record store which gives it a great vibe as you go in. They have plenty of drink options and I greatly enjoyed my cardamom latte. Lots of seating inside and out but it does seem to be crowded on the weekends in my experience. I have not tried any of the food but when talking about a coffee shop coffee is number one to me!
Really good pastries at this very dog- friendly coffee shop. All outdoor seating currently so bundle up or take it to go. Blueberry Scone was crunchy on the outside, nice and crumbly on the inside. Also tried the knish. Wow. Very tasty. My wife had the chocolate croissant. She said it was very good and notable for the amount of chocolate. Cannot confirm because she ate it all before I got a bite though that seems to confirm that it was delicious. Again, all seating is outdoors. There are blankets on the seats and plenty of drinks to keep you warm. Oh, and if you have a dog, the baristas will gladly give your good girl/boy a treat.
Superb home roasted coffee from Baristas who know their stuff! Indoor still closed due to COVID but a lovely outdoor seating area awaits! Try the delicious coconut bread
Nice little coffee shop. Outdoor seating only. Kind of a hidden gem. I had a coffee and bagel. Excellent.
We went here because we saw they had vegan breakfast options and coffee. The sandwiches we had were good. My husband had vegan egg and vegan cheese on a bagel and I had the egg and cheese on a bagel. I can't say they were the best breakfast sandwiches but they were good. We both had the oatchata cold brew and that was delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the small outdoor eating area. If we come back to Baltimore I would definitely stop here again.
Great food and coffee from Open Seas Roastery which is an amazing roaster! The employees and vibes are great, as are the pastries! Plenty of vegan options : I will say, while I love this place - it's definitely more of the occasional splurge, since it can get pretty pricey very quickly, and portions are a bit small for someone with a large appetite. Make sure to try the different mac n cheese flavors!
Very unique coffee spot with personality! Everybody is nice, the vibes are on point with what a small coffee shop should be, and they sell records as well. We got a coffee, a wrap, and an egg bagel sandwich. The coffee was incredible, the wrap was better than expected, and the bagel was hot and soft and glorious. I wish there was a place just like it within walking distance of home! It's a little out of the way for where we typically go when we travel to Baltimore, but we'll still probably go out of our way to pop in again!
I've been going to Babys on Fire for 2 years now and they never disappoint. The coffee is my favorite in the area and their pastries are so good especially their croissants. They continue to keep the community safe with COVID precautions. Everyone that works there is so friendly and kind. You can truly tell they they try to make their little corner of world the best it can be. Highly recommend checking them out!
I’ve been here 3 times now and gotten the exact same panini each time and it has been consistently good. I get the one with seitan on it. I’ve taken several people with me and most have enjoyed it as much as I do. I appreciate that they have an outdoor area; I like to meet up with friends and our dogs and eat a lunch/brunch there.
This is a very cool spot for coffee and vinyl records. They have a good vegan food selection too. Coffee drinks are very tasty. Parking: There's good street parking in the area.
