I took my 2020 Subaru WRX here after an accident, and they made the car look just as good as it did when I first bought it. The insurance estimator David Floyd did great at communicating with me about what was going on with my car. Also, the employees at the front desk were helpful too. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing repairs done on their car.
Don't waste your time. Had a metal rod hit my lower grill, adaptive cruise sensor in early January. Turned it into rapid response claim with insurance. They only estimated lower grill, not acc sensor or the correct labor told me to get supplemental estimate for correct repairs and labor rate. Called Bachman, shouldve known better from my past experience with them. Got the email confirmation for appt. and called right back told her again I'd have to wait on them to do estimate. Simple, grill, acc sensor and guard, labor, no other damage, even gave her the part#'s. Was assured it'd take 15 minutes to write up since it was just minor damage and insurance would have estimate in a couple days. Waited 5 weeks for appointment for a simple estimate. Arrived at Bachman, receptionist kept going back to how they'd have to work off esurance estimate, kept telling her it was for a supplemental estimate not repairs, yet. She just couldn't grasp that idea. She got the guy to come look at it and all he could say is we'll have to tear it down first. Told him, even pointed to the only 3 things damaged, still, we'll have to tear it down. Sounded like a broken record. Told him this is ALL that's damaged, condensor not touched, radiator not touched, no reason to tear it down, have it sit for days or weeks for a simple estimate, his answer, we'll have to tear it down. Basically we'll need to tear it down so it's not driveable so you'll have no choice but to let it sit here for weeks on end since according to their sign on the door they have no employees anymore. Been in the automotive repair business for 40 years, pretty obvious when someone is trying to b/s their way into more work than actually needed, or just didn't want the work which is the impression I got. Had it been major damage and a possibility of hidden damage it would be understandable to tear it down for hidden damage. Not the case at all but he didn't want to hear that, just the same, "we'll have to tear it down". As packed as their lot was with wrecks and no one there working I have no doubt it would've taken months for them to get repairs done. My suggestion, don't waste your time making an appointment. The receptionists are clueless as to how the body shop works, the body shop wants to tear it apart so you have no choice but to leave it there for months waiting on them to find help even for such a minor repair.
My car was brought in for minor repair from a deer strike. My car was given back to me with a front bumper cover that did not even fit correctly. I had over spray on my vehicle. The quality of work performed is not up to par. I will say they have tried to correct the issues, but the car should have been fixed right the first time.Service: Body & Trim
Dave was great! He communicated in a timely manner and worked with me on timing. The process was easier than I anticipated and my car came back to me like new! The blonde woman at the front desk was also very professional and helpful. Thank you
Was quoted a week for repairs, it has now been 50days and still can’t get a response from them, David the person who I was told is working on my car tells me someone else is and that they have covid, but that’s been going on for almost two months now, repeatedly told that I’ll be just another couple days when I can get a hold of them. Insurance has expired on rental and was told by David that they were going to pick up the cost, I was reached out by enterprise telling me this was true but have since tried getting a hold of them and was told that doesn’t appear to be happening. Both this shop and enterprise off of bluegrass park way are notorious for not picking up their phones.Services: Painting
Would give a -star if I could. Took my car to the collision center for repairs. I had my Ipod touch in the center console along with the car charger and auxiliary cord. Upon receiving my car back a month later, my Ipod and all my accessories were missing from the center console. To no avail no one wants to take responsibility for the items missing out of my car that David Floyd was assigned to. So for future clients, TAKE ALL VALUABLE THINGS OUT OF YOUR CAR BECAUSE YOU MIGHT NOT GET THEM BACK.
Brought our Subaru in to be repaired after an accident. Needed a windshield, some trim, and a ton of glass cleaned out of it. They had the vehicle almost 2 months and charged over 9 hours of cleaning time. Got the car back and there was still a ton of glass all over it. "You're going to have glass, there was a lot of glass in the car" They didn't even take the seats out to clean it up. Heck, they didn't even clean under the seats. When I brought it up they said they would "try again" that sounds real lucrative. Ended up taking the car back and cleaning it the rest of the way myself. They didn't even clean the car... what an absolute joke. Don't waste your time here. 2 stars because the actual windshield was replaced I guess.Service: Body & Trim
EDIT: In response to the response this review received: the car is under Trey Cape. You all have been extremely impossible to deal with. Original review: My car has been here for 180 DAYS waiting simply for a seatbelt. I had to just say goodbye to my car and buy a new one. Zero communication and very rude employees. Take your car anywhere else, Bachman is horrible. Even the auto sales is terrible and sold my car I had an appointment to buy and don’t tell me until one hour before my appointment. Yikes.
Dropped my Honda Odyssey off over a week ago and they still haven't even gotten the estimate phase of the process complete. If it takes much longer, I'll pick it up and take it somewhere else.
I was in a wreck a while back. Jay, the Allstate guy, went over and above to fix the issues I had with the damages to my car. I'll bring my car back to be repaired at Bachman again. Thanks, Jay.Services: Painting
