I can't say enough great things about my experience here! Such a fun active alternative to going out to dinner. No matter your level of cooking experience, the recipes and instruction make it easy to have fun making an amazing meal. The first 20 minutes were instruction, the next hour and a half were prepping and cooking, then we sat and ate a 5 dish meal together. BYOB is nice. They put out a cheese plate for us while we cooked. I did a menu based class which I think would be more fun than a skills based class. Great activity with a friend, alone, or small group. Can't wait to go back.

We had an absolute blast at the Handmade Pasta class! The instructor was fun, encouraging, and shared lots of other great cooking tips that we can use at home. Looking forward to taking more classes soon. Perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

What a great experience! My boyfriend and I did the couples cooking class: Thai Street Food and it was amazing! The staff is super nice, the kitchen is beautiful, and you really learn a lot! The set up was nice (3 couples per table) and you really all work together to prepare an awesome meal. It was 3 hours long, and went by so quickly! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try something new or learn some new cooking skills! My boyfriend and I will be trying another class very soon!

Awesome, fun, do-able, and great no-pressure instruction. I completely recommend. I did a Vietnamese street food cooking class. The chef had been to Vietnam and had chosen six great dishes. When we showed up there were clear instructions, little stations set up for us, all the ingredients were out and ready to be prepped, and we worked as a team to make all the dishes. At the end we all sat down and ate together as a team while the staff cleaned up!

The Chef Shop is intimate but well-equipped. There was plenty of work space, stove space, kitchen utensils and bowls/cutting boards/prep areas etc. Plenty of everything. They had a sous chef that helped us as well and someone that did all the dishes the whole time so things never piled up. The chef was great with instructions and during the three hour class/meal, he stopped to do mini-demos of certain techniques, so we learned by watching and then we did it ourselves. 

The Chef Shop was worth the money, was more fun than a simple dinner/movie date, and was so damn delicious. They pretty much ensure that you don't screw up the meal that you're cooking. I 100% recommend it to anyone.  Also, we cooked (and eventually ate) with two other couples at our table who were very fun and interesting so we met new people as well.
