Bambu Vietnamese Cuisine

I've been eating at this restaurant for a long time now. I've liked everything that I've tried and believe me I've probably tried it all. Probably the best Vietnamese food in Springfield. The only downside to eating here is the cigar smoke wafting through the walls or ventilation of the cigar shop next door. It's not the restaurants fault. I blame it on the old fogies next door. Sometimes if I don't want to deal with the smoke issue I will just order take out and eat at home. Problem solved.

After reading the reviews I thought I would of been impressed. First of all it smelled horrible inside like cigarette smoke. The quality of my egg rolled was pretty much rolled up carrots fried and COLD. The soup was the best part. But over all service was HORRIBLE. My server pretty much forgot I was here and I had to wait forever for my drink. Never will I come back here again. This place needs to be renovated and have more staff! The poor woman up front was doing most of the work. Someone help her!

Food is yummy. I had the shrimp fried rice. Girlfriend had lemon grass chicken, she thought it was a little thin on lemon grass goodness. We had egg rolls for an appetizer, very tasty. Ambience was ok. Wait staff was very friendly.prices slightly elevated but not terribly so. Would go back.

Authentic Vietnamese food. If you haven’t tried their Pho Thai, you should definitely do yourself a favor and order it. The flavor of the broth, mixed with the beef, fresh herbs and their homemade chili sauce is incredible. Their fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce are also delicious.

Great Vietnamese food!! Also they have great service! The waiter we had was so nice and cheery. They also have a pretty great Thai tea. It seems that they also have pretty authentic ingredients and meals. Oh! You have to get the egg rolls! The best egg rolls I've ever had.
