Banfield Pet Hospital

We pay for 2 pet plans and have had mixed experiences at the vet. Each vet there doesn't always do a basic physical when they come in or even read the previous notes. Things were often missed and not communicated to us. Our pets suffered and now one has a potentially life threatening issue that could have been prevented had they offered treatments. Plan is affordable if you think of it as dnetal pre-payment. The vets are dangerous. Some of them seem to truly care though.

They tell you one price when bringing in your pet and then after they perform the treatment they tell you it will cost a lot more. If you refuse to pay that amount they threaten to attack your credit and call the police if you complain. I even brought in a recording of the vet promising a certain amount and they still charged more and didn't want to listen to it. They told me over the phone that my plan would cost $34 monthly and would remain this way until the dog was an adult at which I might go down because the dogs weight would most likely remain consistent. This was all recorded and I offered to show them. However when I got there they said that the plan would cost $40 monthly or would only be valid for 6 months and they them denied saying it would last until adulthood. The other dogs I had in the plans were poorly treated as well. When my last Dog died after being a customer for 13 years, they told me that i would have to pay for an additional 3 months. Despite my past problems I was hoping things would be different. I guess not. On a side note one of their employees by the name if Christina was acting in a threatening manner by doing research on me on LinkedIn. She probably does realize that when you do research on someone on that site, that person is notified.

Aweful! Over 2 years they've put two of our 3 animals' lives in danger and made them suffer without talking to us about treatments. They put things in writing without descriptions and when you ask about it they dismiss it. We no longer trust them to care for our furry babies. Run the other way!

This place is amazing and the doctor is very knowledgeable
