Great experience overall. The staff was kind enough to answer a few questions I had before I brought my dog Georgia in for a back issue in March. When I arrived I was greeted by all staff who were all ready and willing to help. The techs, the vet, and the vet were all accomodating and easy to talk to. After treatment Georgia ended up fine. I have lived in many different cities and brought my dog to many different vets, but this location gave one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!

The quality of care is not in question, however, the way they do billing is! We had brought or dog in to the clinic in Jan. We explained that our account will not have the funds until the next day, and they allowed us to sign a payment agreement, which would debit our account the next day. Well they waited nearly a month before running our card, and when they did, it was declined. Did they call us to inform us what happened? No! the agreement I signed was to debit our card the next day....did they? No! instead, we started getting delinquency notices in the mail. Now, I know it's up to all of us to do our own record keeping, but a simple phone call would have cleared this whole matter up. Would I recommend this clinic for pet care? yes!! but be careful, their billing method needs work!

We brought in our cat bc it was his time. The staff were so nice and gave us plenty of time with before he went to Heaven. He was in good hands.

After reading several unfavorable posts on this office I was very unsure about what I would experience. From the office staff to the vet techs, all were friendly and very concerned for my pet. The oncologist was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns without pushing any extra testing or predetermined treatment plan. She was also very willing to devise a treatment plan that my vet could implement, as its a 2-3 hour drive to Mandeville for me. All costs were explained upfront as this type of treatment is pricey (as all specialty treatments are). I left feeling the visit was well worth the trip and expense.

We were referred to MedVet Mandeville by our local vet for our lab mix, Blanca, due to severe pancreatitis. She was admitted on a Thursday and we took her home on Sunday. The doc went over the courses of action and associated costs. We were given a range of what the bill would be based on the courses of action. The bill ended up being at the low end of the estimate and was very reasonable. They even offer a military/veterans discount which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly and compassionate. The docs kept us well informed and went through all options thoroughly. You can call at any time, day or night, and get an update. We visited Blanca on Saturday and the doc was there to give us a full progress report. We hope to never have to use a Vet ER again, but if we do we'd use MedVet Mandeville again without hesitation.
