Banh Mi So 1

This is the best restaurant in St Louis. Literally everything on the menu is good. But if you are confused about what to order, don't be afraid to ask the staff. They offer pretty good suggestions. That peak times sometimes the service can be a little slow. This is part of being a mom-and-pop hole-in-the-wall establishment. In the evening on weekends is when it's at its busiest. Most of the time during the week you can get service reasonably fast.

This place has a....feel. I can't quite put my finger on it. It feels like a whole in the wall you'd find in an old 80s film with Nick Nolte and some poorly dressed partner of his. The food was good. The service was nothing to write home about until a nice older gentleman with an infectious grin came over and greeted us. I believe he is the owner. He was so pleasant and even offered to bag up the extra veggies we wanted to take for our guinea pig! He single-handly double the tip we left. The food could use some updating but it was delicious and a must try for sure!

It's a hole in the wall with great food. I always start things off here with a Vietnamese ice coffee and shrimp spring rolls. For my main dish i almost always order the Vietnamese beef stew. The fresh herbs and the sauces you mix in at the table make this dish top notch. I have also ordered a shrimp curry dish a few times and it was great as well. If you can get past the run down area then this place is definitely worth the trip.

Their rice with the little beans is sooooo good :( super nice servers, everyone is friendly, environment was quiet but busy. Loved it overall, didn't have any problems. Also love that they had non-dairy options for the drinks.

Very flavorful and tasty food, great service, and most of the dishes are very cheap. It is definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been!
