Mai Lee

The shops are fantastic. I usually get a BBQ pork sandwich too and it's just enough. Crispy tofu is fantastic. The veggies with the dish could stand alone by themselves. Roasted duck is great... The skinn is marvelous on the duck. Always a pleasure eating here. It's sometimes busy, but the service is great, friendly and fast.

It is always good dining at Mai Lee Restaurant. For most of the life of this restaurant, at the original location and this one, the food has been consistently superb. Today we had lunch specials but found the wait time to be a bit longer than usual, probably due to the very busy, very full dining room. Since I have never had a meal here I did not enjoy, I hesitate to make recommendations except to say my personal favorite lunch special is hot braised eggplant.

Mai Lee was all that it was said to be. Fast...super friendly, great new tastes. We tried it mainly to try Pho for the first time. It was amazing. Never had that many different flavors bouncing around one dish before in my life. Then I tried their fried rice....super different than regular Chinese rice....for obvious reasons. Lots of meat...banging flavor...server was fantastic as well.

Whenever I travel to St. Louis I try to make it to Mai Lee if I have time. Really good Vietnamese comfort food. Recently had an excellent oxtail Pho. My dining companion had an excellent sandwich. I have yet to have a miss. Service was a bit slow but they were between services so not a big deal to us.

This place is awesome. The food was excellent and the servers were excellent. They refilled our drinks without asking. Our food was delicious. I really felt important to the servers.
