The Traditional Banh Mi sandwich $9.75 was less than ok. It didn't hit the spot for me. Also the sandwich was small and a bit pricey. Also, their Grilled Pork Rice Box $10.75 fell in the same category. The pork, vegetables, and the sauces used didn't do it for me. Also, once again, portion size was small. Lastly, the Original Bubble Tea $4.75. The drink was again, ok. I just wish it was a bit sweeter.
Got the chicken Banh Mi to compare. Was good had lots of radish and carrots which I loved not over stuffed but could use more sauce. Like the bread too not too firm. Definitely will be going back.Food: 4/5
This unassuming place has been super consistent over the years. My go to order is the grilled pork banh mi and it never disappoints. Bread is always crispy, fillings are flavorful and well balanced. They usually have it ready in under 10 mins. One of my neighborhood go-tos.Food: 5/5
Food was so good. I really didn't expect it seeing as the reviews weren't the greatest. But I was pleasantly surprised. Vermicelli salad and pork rolls were delicious.Food: 5/5
Very confused by these reviews. It tasted average, if that. The sandwiches are smaller than traditional barely 9” and filled with more veggies than meat. I got it from Uber eats and am very disappointed. Pictured is the chicken Bahn mi, honeydew jelly tea and taro bubble tea. Bubble teas are the worst I’ve tasted. Has a weird lychee aftertaste for some reason. And the boba are super small and not chewy. We got the large size and it’s still the smallest cup I’ve ever seen. See pics for size reference next to paper towel roll, barely 1/3 the size of it. $45 For 2 sandwiches and 2 “bubble” teas def not worth it.
I usually get the spicy traditional Bahn mi to go. I eat a lot of bahn mi sandwiches and this one is by far my favorite. Also their lemonade/kinase is incredible! Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
We got tofu and classic banh mi. We are big banh mi fans, but these were not good. The classic banh mi was too salty and you could tell that the quality of the meat was not good. The carrots were old and had been soaked in water for too long. For the tofu banhmi, I was expecting grilled tofu, but it was so mushy and covered in mayo. I asked for medium spiciness, but the banh mis were not spicy at all. Overall, it was very disappointing. The place looked very dirty too. We ended up driving to Banh Mi Place on Washington.
Really big portions and flavorful. Get the pork pho!!! Beef pho is yummy too but the pork is juicy and gives a sweet savory kick to the soup. Really good remedy to a cold rainy day and any kind of day really With tip a bowl of pho was $15Food: 5/5
Tofu banh mi was great. Perfect ratio of ingredients. Also great light fluffy bread but well toasted. Not too big, just filling enough. No they aren’t huge or overly stuffed. IMO it’s really quite good.
Ordered grilled pork banh mi and tofu summer roll. Grilled pork was ice cold and dry like it had been out for days, tasted like dog food. Asked for it spicy and got no jalapeños or sriracha. Bread stale. Summer roll just noodles and tofu and one sad piece of lettuce, no herbs. Abysmal food, especially for the price. Go somewhere else.
