Barbara's Wig Boutique

My grandmother really needed a wig and we order a few online but they were no good so I decide to take her to Asheville to get one. I made an appointment with Secrets of a Duchess because they had the highest reviews, that was a mistake! Don't make the same mistake as me. As I said we made an appointment and when we got there they were not ready for us they had nowhere near the selection that they claimed to have and when I tried to describe the type of wig my grandmother was looking for they only halfway to listened to me. They were very rude, didn't hardly have anything in her size and not in her color. We were very disappointed so I got on my phone and found Barbara's Wig Boutique. I called her and told her the problems we were having with Secrets of a Duchess and she told us to come on in and I'm so glad that we did. She's been doing this for 50 some years and she is amazing. She also works with hospitals and chemotherapy patients. She has thousands of wigs, she's very personal, listens to what you want and need and she tells you everything you need to know about styling and caring for your wig. All around the best experience I could hope for. My grandmother is very hard to shop for but Barbara made it easy. I couldn't be more thankful for and to Barbara's Wig Boutique. Very sketchy. Requested cash because "their machine is broken." Not sure if medicare will cover cost because the receipt is hand written. Spent a lot of money and time here, not very happy with hair prosthesis once I got them home.

Terrible, messy store, very nice but tried to sell me a CVS Halloween wig for $50 bad deal
