Barcelona has a menu filled with both tapas and large plates. Our party of 4 focused on the small plates and every dish delivered was devoured. But our positive experience actually started much earlier in the day with excellent customer service that was delivered throughout our visit. I called to make a reservation specifically for the heated patio as we needed outdoor seating to accommodate an expecting mom - reservation was made without annoyance or trying to direct me to a website. We arrived that evening and waited for a few minutes beyond our time but the restaurant was very busy for a Sunday and no outdoor tables were open. Jerome opened up a closed off section, started the patio heaters and a fire to make us comfortable. Our waitress Kayla was very attentive, pleasant to chat with and managed all of our requests with skill. The experience was filled with delicious Spanish tapas in a cozy environment and staff that you could chat with like you were long time friends. We highly recommend Barcelona!
Great place! My friend and I were able to sit on the patio. Even though it was chilly outside, Barcelona had the tall heaters out. It was fantastic! Loved the food and the wine! The only issue was that the meatballs were a little salty. The bread was so good, though. Luna, the hostess, was awesome!!Food: 4/5
To say my experience at this place was amazing would be an understatement. From the time I made the reservation until the moment I left the restaurant; customer service was outstanding. I received a reminder about my reservation a couple of days before and on the morning of, I received a phone call asking if we would like to be seated inside or out. On the day of, I was running 10 minutes late and was assured my table would be waiting for me. Upon arriving I had 2 other people call stating they would be attending. Shanté quickly moved our table to accommodate the additional guests. His personality lit up the room. He was so attentive and professional. The food was AWESOME! Everything that was placed on our table was simply divine. This was hands down the best birthday lunch I have ever had. All of my guests were super impressed. I cannot say enough about this experience. Thank you to all of the staff involved in making my birthday the best! We will be back!
There’s nothing basic about Barcelona. Everything that we had was delicious. Be prepared to wait almost an hour if you order the Paella, it takes that long to cook. Also get a pitcher of the Red Sangria. You will be glad that you did!
Tapas. Very good food selection. Flight of wine. Excellent service - thanks to Megan; she went above and beyond. We loved all of our selections and especially those recommended; shrimp, mussels, wild boar sausage and paella. Well be back for dinner in the future.Food: 5/5
Amazing experience and the foods are delicious! This is my first time I tried Spanish foods with my friend from Spain. He said the foods are quite authentic. The service is delightful and all the dishes are really impressive. I love the atmosphere and it’s really pretty sitting both inside and outsideRecommended dishesManchego and Jamón Croquetas, Spiced Beef Empanadas, Gambas Al Ajillo
I was very pleased. My date suggested this place. It was very nice. The atmosphere was good, the employees were nice, and it is in a convenient location off the beltline. I recommend for anyone looking for something new or different. A revisit? Depends. I would return for certain to try something new.
Really enjoyed the tapas dining outside for lunch. The red sangria is very good, not too sweet. Favorite tapas were the ham and manchego crochettes, the blistered okra and my favorite was the charizo with fig and honey. Within easy walk of the beltline trail. Wheelchair accessibility: Outside and first floor inside is easy to access.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. Service is always great, and the food and wine is always phenomenal. I do miss the table side gin and tonic, that was a fun option.
Great tapas and delicious paella. We had sangria. Good but could dress up the pitcher of sangria with fruits like they did in Spain.
