Bareburger

Story

At Bareburger, we take a simple, joyful and organic approach to food. We believe that fresh, vibrant, clean food served in a fun place can make the world smile. Ingredients should be sourced as close to home as possible, but if Wisconsin has the best cheese and Montana knows bison as well as Texas knows elk, we believe that above all else, partnerships should make sense. We take as much pride in preparing and cooking our food as we do sourcing it. The point is, we are not those “pre-cook” guys. We do not reheat. We cook fresh, we serve fresh. We do it right the first time, even if it takes a few extra minutes. Whether you are impeccably health-conscious, or strictly appreciative of great grub, we have something you’ll happily devour. We don’t serve the biggest burger. We don’t serve the smallest burger. We serve the most responsible burger. We may not have a dollar menu, but we do have the quality, flavor and love that every organic, delicious burger deserves.

I came here because of a friend’s recommendation and I was blown away! My server was friendly and helpful in navigating the big menu it’s only I One page but there are a lot of combos. I went for the build your one burger option. Once the food came out I was so happy to see my burger cooked just how I like it! I got sweet potatoes fries that were sooo delicious. I highly recommend giving this spot a try! I will be back to they the bison burger.
I finally made my way to this spot and it was adorable and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered the Impossible burger - they had the v2 and I was eager to try it. The burger itself not pictured was delicious but I felt like the bun and toppings were just meh. I would love see them have a more creative spin on it. I will say that their fries and onion rings were on point though and their sauce game lacks not. Oh I also had their incredible vegan shake mint chocolate & cookies n cream pictured here. I don’t even like mint x chocolate together but it was so tasty. **update: i returned and had another impossible burger with a sprouted bun and guacamole, etc. Much better. And I’ve added a picture. It was sooooo forking good!!
Really great option for a burger spot, especially if you're vegetarian or vegan. Got a Beyond Burger for the first time and I was impressed. Also had a share size fries with two tasty sauces and a 12oz lager on draft for $3. I will no doubt be back again. I would love to give this a 5/5 but my only gripe is that the brioche bun wasn't warm, otherwise it was 5 star. Highly recommend the mint chocolate cookies and cream vegan shake, was the perfect end to our meal. Staff were very friendly and prices are great especially when you have the option to build your own burger.
This is such a great place to eat. The staff is super nice and the atmosphere is very chill. They have good selection of beers and hard alcohols. They play sports on the television so you can relax with a burger and beer while watching your team. The decor is fun and environmentally friendly. The roof is made of recycled tin and wood. They have many vegan options to all their food so there is something for everyone. I ordered the flaming bacon and it was delicious.
The service was outstanding. The food was cooked well and very tasty. Someone who even doesn’t like Brussels sprouts likes the ones here. The organic burgers were very good. I highly recommend Bareburger in DC and will visit again.
I loveeed this place in New York, so while visiting in D.C. we thought why not stop by! The staff who work here are literally some of the most amazing people, constantly checking up on us, gave us plenty of time to order/eat and enjoy our night. We stayed so long we even got dessert too! The food is beyond well priced for how tasty it is, and I always admire when a restaurant offers vegetarian/vegan options and tries its absolute best to be cruelty free/organic. I ended up building a burger which I always reccomend, got the s'mores ice cream, and even a beer flight! Would love to visit this exact location again if we weren't just visiting.
Amazing menu, they have created burgers but also allow you to create your own and/or customize existing menu items. Highly recommend the impossible burgers, shareable fries, and the happy hour!!!! The service can be slow but they are usually busy. And they have late hours to accommodate DuPont night life. Must try!!!!
Superb organic burgers! The picture shows the El Matador with a collard green wrap and the Paul Bunyan. The El Matador is a spicy burger taste, while the Paul Bunyan is more traditional bacon burger.
This place has a quirky feel as you walk in and you see a pastel-stained sanded bar surrounded by high tables and 4 tops. The colorful menu is active with unique names for burgers and sandwiches. The staff is friendly and my standard burger was very tasty. All burgers are cooked medium.
Fantastic service and the food was delicious! I had the Buckaroo and I absolutely loved it. The sweet potato fries were good too. I also loved the look of the restaurant. Very expensive but definitely a special experience worth having.
