Wasn't sure what to expect with Barkeaters, but we were floored with how great it was! The mushroom fries were incredible and full of flavor, the beet and chevre salad was the best I've ever had, and the seared tuna was good (although a little too cooked for my liking). The atmosphere was nice and the service was above average; the food is what makes this a clear 5-star rating in my opinion. We'll definitely be back.

Consistently good food and service in a very nice atmosphere. Enjoy the little patio area for outdoor dining. Still a good place but losing ground recently possibly due to staff turnover. Previously 5 stars, now 4.

Reasonable prices, good food. Had their fish and chips (haddock, good batter, crispy fries). Wife had quiche with salad. Very good. Popular place for ladies to have lunch together. Cozy.
