Barrows House Inn & Restaurant

Lovely place. The restaurant is charming , food is great and we have a favorite waitress Gina, who is really sweet. The tuna nachos are our favorite. Cocktails are are strong, so watch out.

My experience was completely dreadful. In town for the weekend, visiting, I was told I needed to experience Barrows restaurant. However, after being seated I was able to finish the lord of the rings trilogy while they fetched my water. Furthermore, after speaking with the manager (6 times to be exact), I was ensured the meal would be right out and free of charge. Well, I guess free of charge doesn't necessarily mean we would actually get our meal. Ultimately, this experience was nothing short of disheartening and truly ruined my experience. I do not suggest you even attempt to visit this poor establishment. You're better off eating at the McDonald's down the street.

Great food, great people, great service. Date night was a HUGE success when we went to the Barrows House...The VEAL was to die for! Thanks for keeping me smiling and happy! A+ Great menu.

I LOVE it here! Feels like your own beautiful home in country...that you invite all your friends to! The staff is very friendly and the fire is always lit. The perfect Winter stay.

Not a bad place, I wouldn't recommend it though. The horseback riding wasn't really good. Too many walls per bed. The food was decent but it wasn't good. All in all,it's not a bad movie.
