Four Columns Inn & Restaurant

My husband and I enjoyed 3.5 days at the Four Columns Inn immediately following our wedding in November 2017. We were completely blown away by its quaint charm, friendly staff, and cozy vibe. When we first arrived, we were informed that they had taken it upon themselves to upgrade our room as someone had stayed in the room we reserved the night before with a dog and they were concerned about the smell. 10 bonus points immediately. From there, our stay became even more spectacular. Everyone made us feel at home away from home and offered wonderful recommendations for things to do and see around the area. Special shoutout to Shire at the front desk. We loved her! Plus her name is Shire - pretty cool. It's been said already, but I'll say it again: the food is incredible! Unfortunately, we did not get to try dinner service (so many local restaurants to try), but we had an amazing breakfast at the inn every morning we were there. Scrumptious. Our upgraded room was fantastic. With a huge fireplace that opened up to a large bathroom, we were extremely cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. We were able to take advantage of other cozy nooks in the inn and enjoy a couple afternoons in the common room downstairs reading and sipping wine. Also enjoyed a couples massage. I can't remember their names (a male and female), but they were both warm and attentive to our needs. The steam shower at the end in that beautiful bathroom was the cherry on top. We will definitely be back! Shire, if you read this, thank you for making our stay so easy!

Ate there several times both in the bar and restaurant (for brunch). Food is delicious and beautifully presented. Casey was our bartender; very friendly and a lot of fun! Has a cozy sitting room with fireplace. Will be back!

If you haven't been to Artisan- @ The Four Columns New Fane Vermont, what the f*** are you waiting for. The farm don't get much closer to the table. Great service Casey,liz,Sammy,Chi ; incredible chef (Erin,josh). If you looking for a touch of home with fresh, local ingredients and plenty of flare. Look no more, don't worry they won't break the bank. Don't come in a rush only 2 cooks!!!! Come, chill, like family see ya

A little pricey, but still a bargain considering it was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Excellent service as well.

Had dinner in the tavern portion, food was good and great atmosphere in a beautiful old building. VT beers on tap too. Main dining area looks worth trying for a special night out, menu there a little high for a regular night out for us. Nice patio dining off tavern for warmer months.
