This quaint airport is just that - quaint. There is a comfy lounge in the loft where you can watch the runway - Cafe has very limited hours. Staff is friendly, even the TSA!

It's a friendly little airport. Cape Air only flies to Boston but the staff is very accommodating. No needed to get to the airport 2 hours in advance as the TSA only shows up 30 minutes before each flight. There is a nice cafe open for breakfast and lunch

First time to Rutland's airport. Very nice to have a quick way to access from Boston.

Idiot delight Tracy Adams running the place is a clueless vegetable lasagna.
She knows 24 hours in advance you will be bumped but does ABSOLUTELY nothing in advance to notify you, instead lets you rush to the airport and notify you when you arrive.
Then makes you wait 45 minutes while she fritters about getting the flight you should have been
ready for takeoff, including printing new boarding passes for everyone, roll call, holding the door open, exchanging light banter, loading luggage and standing on the tarmac waving goodbye.
Finally I was issued a credit and told to have a nice day, the woman is an eggplant, drugged perhaps. Why anyone would chose to fly either Cape Air or use RUT is beyond me, it's a shoestring joke operation and perhaps dangerous as the reason I was bumped was to accommodate the copilot needed because they were using a trainee pilot. Even Hertz has packed up and left, yes no rent
a car unless you get shuttled to Rutland for Green Mt. Rental, but no Sunday service.
Don't fly Cape Air and don't waste your time depending on RUT or the moron Tracy Adams.

Very clean and very convenient if you need to fly out of Vermont. Plus free parking for 14 days. Great prices.
