Basil Asian Bistro

Four stars not because there was any problem with the food. But the fact that when we asked the waitress for a to go box, she gave a paper one. Because we were supposed to put in liquids, I asked for a plastic one. And and and you should have seen the face. She was so offended and rude that why did I challenge her decision of giving me a paper box for liquids. I literally left the place being as calm as I could. I thought she will beat me up. But again food is good. Just that people there need to be more understanding and polite.

Basil's has great food. The prices are moderate, but you get what you pay for. The service was excellent. I did not have to ask more than once for anything at the waitress was always checking on us without being overbearing. The atmosphere is inviting and has a high class feel without the high class price. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who may want to spend a nice evening at a nice restaurant.

I am not a huge fan of this Basil location in Wooster. I much prefer the one in Akron. Because of the open ceilings, the restaurant is way too loud and it is difficult to have conversations even at my immediate table when the restaurant is full. Additionally, we were seated at a table immediately next to the kitchen and a large trash bin where we were constantly getting pumped by service staff. We asked to move and they accommodated us. The food is good but the experience overall left me giving a 3/5. I will chose the Akron location if I am to visit again.

One of my favorite places to eat! The staff has always been top notch, I never have to ask for anything. Recommend to all my friends

Highly recommend this place if you're in Wooster. Food is solid for a great price. Best Asian food around.
