We went strawberries picking in early June. The field was clean and the berries are juicy and sweet. We had a great time there. The pie and slush are really tasty too. Note that the staff said the animal farm will probably remain closed this year.

Great family fun. Apple harvest in the fall, you can pick your own apples they last for months! The kids are encouraged to "sample". Hay rides, pumpkins in the fall and other farm produce available nearly year round.

We've been to Baughers Farm twice now, once for Strawberry Picking and again for Apple Picking with our toddler and love our experience every time.. very friendly staff and fun for ALL ages! We plan to go for their other events as well, worth the hour drive for us :)
I'd just recommend checking their website beforehand to see what's going on and/or call ahead to see status of fruit picking, etc (certain times of year for different things, and only certain amount) I'd hate to make the drive and show up and you couldn't pick anything...

Overall, a nice place to visit. We went in the Fall...apple and pumpkin season. There is other fresh fruit that can be picked - cherries, peaches, etc. Its a medium-sized, family operation that has been around for years. It gets crowded on weekends, so be prepared for that. Their small store has all of the fruit and veggies harvested and ready to purchase. There are pies, fudge, jams, jellies, ice cream, kitchen gadgets that are perfect for dealing with whatever you're trying to cut up, amongst other things. And, they have some Fair Food too, some made with the produce from their farm. There are ATMs on site, but be prepared to pay cash for most things. You are required to pay for the tractor ride to the fields, orchards - about $2 per person, then you will pay for your harvest when returning. The price per pound seems reasonable, but add the transportation fee and calculate it out. Keep in mind, it is just-picked-freshness! They will not let you walk to the orchard - even if it is directly across the street, 50 ft away. The folks there seem nice enough; the kids mostly run the retail operation, but they know what they're doing. The petting zoo...well...the little kids will like it. A few goats, a sheep, donkey, some ducks and rabbits, that's about it. Its small, but its enough for what they have going on. I urge everyone to go visit this farm, especially in the Fall.
