Meadows Farms Nurseries & Landscaping

Used to come here frequently. Yesterday, received very poor customer service. I called before going to ask the delivery fee for a tree - when I got there, it was $10 higher. When I asked to have the phone quote honored, I was told "no". I also had a VIP coupon for $10 off. I was told I could not use it since the item I purchased was being delivered. The coupon says that it can't be used on the delivery fee - says nothing about not being used on the item. My VIP treatment was laughable.

I visited Medows Farms in Clarksburg last week, skip Laurel plants were $10 off, I decided to buy 20 plants, since I needed a truck to pickup 20 plants, I spoke the person there about picking them up over the weekend, they said I can come and since my order is large they will honor the price. I went there on Saturday with my contractor , when I asked for the price they said it's $10 more,as the sale ended, I told them about my visit on Wednesday and conversation with the store person, the responses of the manager is totally careless no attention paid to the information I was giving, as he knows that I got a contractor to pickup plants and so I have no choice, absolutely an exploitation of customer's situation. I saw the owners response below, they have not given landscapers discount but they called in response to my post and promptly resolved my concern, they honored sale price and refunded the difference.

Went there one week ago for my first every visit to meadows farms, for plants and for playground sand. Bought the playground sand instead of the bulk sand because I wanted the best for my son. Paid $6 per bag, got it home with my son and d emptied the bags into my some play area, every single bag was muddy and green with mold. Came back the following weekend and while making an additional purchase told the cashier I'd like to speak to a manager about the incident and was told "both managers are up the hill unloading a truck, but I can go up and talk to them if I'd like. I left with my purchase and will never return. Some people have no idea what customer service is, very disappointed.

Lot of variety of flowers and plants for the hard core gardener. Good quality but expensive. Knowledgeable staff in guiding you on choosing your plants.
