Homestead Farm

This is a great farm driving distance from DC. There is a lot of choice in what to pick here, especially for the fruit of the season. We have gone in the fall for apples, but we could have done some vegetables as well. There is good seating for grabbing a bite, we actually brought food from home but we’re welcome to sit at their picnic table anyway. It’s less crowded than some of the other farms near DC, which is a plus.

It worth our hour long drive to visit. Great fruit, kids friendly. My girl loves the goats and hen.

Great place for fun outing, but not at all wheelchair friendly. If you are a wheelchair user don't come here. Also prices are fair but not awesome. You will often pay more to pick your own than to buy in the store.

We have been here 6 times over 4 years. We absolutely love the openness and free to roam atmosphere. EXCELLENT APPLES AND PRODUCE. No frills, no hovering. Everyone shod try to go.

Had a great time picking apples. Very family oriented. Great little market area at the end. Looking forward to next year.
