If you are heading West to the St. Lewis, Missouri area, and you enjoy Bed and Breakfast stays, BEALL MANSION is the best of the best! A beautiful and historic home and grounds! The magnificent architecture of the home and its interior is stunning. The furniture and well-appointed sitting rooms and dining room are charming, and the comfort of our room made us want to stay forever. The host and hostess welcomed us like family, and the food and beverage service was superior. We enjoyed brandy and chocolate in the sitting rooms at the end of day. What more can I say? Visit BEALL MANSION, and experience it for yourself.

I had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Beall Mansion. The service was excellent. Jim, Sandy and Mary Lou were wonderful. Very welcoming place. The history of the mansion is very interesting. Whirlpool tub was incredible. We truly enjoyed ourselves and will be back again.

Jim greated my husband and I with the details of our purchased package and two glasses of champagne. Then proceeded to give us a detailed informative tour of the mansion and it's history. The amount of detail he and his wife had put into the complete restoration of one of Alton's beloved historical sites was beyond breathtaking. They had many different nationalities represented in their antiques that literally cover the mansion from floor to ceiling. All of which are appropriate for the time era they had in their vision. They offer a 24 hr tea (if I had to guess... More than 15 different flavors), cider, and coffee as well as a fabulous and complimentary chocolate buffet, chocolates ranging from the childhood classics to a more rare collection of goodies (all calorie free ;)!) He then escorted us to our room. It's was absolutely amazing. I can't say enough about how beautiful our room was. I live in Alton and it felt as if we had been transported back in time and to somewhere far, far away. The bathroom was clean and fully stocked with towels and robes. The Whirlpool bathtub was perfect and never ran out of hot water. The best part, by far, was the bed. Elegant and the most comfortable sleep I've EVER had! Truly phenomenal. I WILL be staying again. If you're wanting a truly unique experience, try them out.

We came for our anniversary. Would love to come back every year. It is Historic and beautiful.
