Beaverton Transit Center is clean, well lit after dark and blessed with frequent visits by Transit Officers (Yes.They are real cops). Trimet operates the property so it's all a No Smoking area (that includes e-cigs, pipes, etc.). While at the BTC you are subject to penalties, fines & exclusion under Trimet rules and regulations (Common sense & common courtesy go a long way).
Tips for anyone & EVERYONE riding Trimet: Be polite to your driver, Watch where you are going, Be polite to your fellow passengers.

This transit center welcomes some odd characters. Can feel unsafe with aggressive riders as transit police is few and far between. Beaverton police is nearby, but does not appear often. There is no free trimet parking nearby, but it is a main transit center...
Blue line is generally late, don't get caught on the train that ends in Elmonica if you are trying to get to Hillsboro. Running occurs if transferring to WES. There are no public restrooms available if you miss a transfer and have to wait an extra 30+ mins.

Transit center for 2 MAX lines, the WES, and quite a few bus lines. If you need to get somewhere in the Portland metro area, this Transit center is a good place to start

It's a good hub since it connects with WES, MAX Blue, MAX Red, and many bus lines, but there is no park and ride area here and there's limited seating which makes it difficult when waiting for a connection for long periods of time (and/or when it starts snowing...see pictures from December 2016, the start of a snow catastrophe for Portland).
