Why the heck Trimet transport allowed bringing a lot of homeless are everywhere and they don't care if they were damaging the property.

Very poor ice removal when that's an issue. No convenient park and ride options. Elevator usually smells like urine. Taking bike on MAX from this location is very inconvenient due to lots of stairs or urine-scented elevator being your only options to get to platform. Huge homeless camp nearby. Seems like only a few bus lines serve this station. On the plus side, it's close to Trader Joe's and the Hollywood Theater.

There are a lot of homeless people who live under the stairway bridge that connects to the max platform. They use the elevator as a restroom. As a result it is the worst elevator TriMet has. It reeks and is frequently broken down. I was trapped inside for 20 minutes, until rescued by Portland Fire and Rescue. This is not a failing of TriMet, of Portland's ever increasing homeless population. The maintainance crews clean the Transit Center, sky bridge, and platform frequently. The Elevator has frequent maintenance. They just aren't able too beat back the problem.

I love the trimet transportation system because of the compassion and empathy that I meet many wonderful people on the bus who have disabilities, homeless people, and bus drivers. I always go to the front of the bus to tell the bus driver to have a Good Day and I almost always sit at the back of the bus!

Many times the elevator isn't functioning resulting in light rail station platform being inaccessible to wheelchairs trying to board trains/exit train platform after a exiting train.
