It was a line of people waiting outside the office so I was skeptical of getting my daughter seen in a timely manner despite having an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised when we were seen after only a short wait about 15 minutes. The assistants were efficient at getting our paperwork and insurance information processed. The tech who performed the initial tests on my daughter was patient with her as it was her first time going to an eye doctor she's 6. Dr. Ginsburg who saw my daughter had a great bedside manner and explained everything to my daughter so she would feel comfortable. She explained everything to me in a simple manner as well providing me with my daughter's prescription on a business card. We checked out quickly and paid the copay with a touchless system and my daughter was fitted for her glasses by another nice tech. It was a smooth appointment from beginning to end. I was pleased and will gladly return for my daughter's annual exam next year.
I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now and I usually see Dr.Peggy whom is great. She always checks my eyes well and asks me if I have any concerns well today was a different story. I had a 5 o’clock appointment which it took about over an hour to even be seen and I seen a completely different doctor. My appointment was so rushed he didn’t ask me to read the letters out, he didn’t ask me if I had any concerns about my eyes all he did was ask can I see the letters switched them around twice and wrote a prescription. The prescription he gave me was less than the one i had before which I know for a fact that my eyes did not get better and he completely blew me off when I told him how I felt. I will probably come back so Dr.Peggy can re-do my exam because I feel like I wasted money today and other than that I probably will go somewhere else from now on. Today was not a good experience.
I use to love coming to here I hate this place after the my last experience. The girl with dreads or nappy braids is so rude and ignorant it's sad. This place use to be very friendly at one point. My son is 18 and we have been coming to this place every since he started getting eye exams. This place needs to check their staff. Time to move on it saddens me.
I called and tried to make an appointment I was told I had to schedule online. The day of the appointment I received a call to come 15 to 30 minutes later because the doctor was running behind. When I arrived I noticed at 7 people waiting outside and another 5 waiting inside. When the young lady called us back she preceded to call me the name wrong as she has done for the past 2 or more years. Waited on the inside, when she called another customer back she said “ oh your mother is so nice” twice as if it meant anything to me. Customer service skills are way below average!!!! Appointment was at 11:30 wasn’t seen by the doctor until 12:33 the doctor is always nice and friendly it’s just her staff bringing her down…..
The older lady that answers the phone is very ignorant and disrespectful ,I asked a simple question that had nothing to do with a prescription it was about an abbreviation I was wondering exactly what it meant in their terms she kept saying it’s a hippa violation…made NO sense whatsoever I had no questions about anything that was a hippa violation. She just didn’t know the answer I would rather her just state that then to be rude because she has a job she knows nothing about, she disconnected the call very unprofessional .The dr here is very kind but this older lady here needs to retire or something.
My first time trying this place out on 12/10/21. My appointment was at 3 o clock. The register process was quick and straight to the point. Then, I was seen, right away. Honestly, the quickest eye exam I’ve ever had. In and out in about a hour. The woman optometrist was very patient and respected my opinion and concerns. I really appreciate it. The only thing I’d like to note is that due to the virus, they are not dilating pupils, so they mandate a 20 dollar retina scan. I would, really, like them to put it on their website and make it known, when an appointment is scheduled. No one likes to be caught off guard with unexpected, mandatory fees. The optometrist was willing to work out a solution for me, so no complaints there. This place has great customer service.
I like the staff here. My adult son is autistic and everyone was so patient! The doctor gave a very thourgh eye exam. Even discovered he needed glasses!
It was cool they gave the wrong glasses but they made the change good and it was cool so they fixed the problem
They don’t let you make an appointment. When I got here, I was told that the wait would be 45 mins; it’s been over an hour.
Normally I have no issues with Belvedere Eye center, but today was another story. I took the time to schedule an appointment as they clearly state on their page to do in light of COVID. I had a 3:00 appointment and arrived around 2:45 and informed the clerk of my appointment. She said I would be called back soon. Well, soon turned into a hour and a half and I still didn’t see the doctor. They were honoring ALL the walk-ins and not my appointment. I left with a headache and a bad attitude. I find this totally unacceptable and unprofessional. However, Upon returning home after a couple of hours, I received a phone call from Dr. Sinkoe to apologize for the incident. I felt her sincerity and felt much better. She rescheduled me for an appointment for the following day. She is one of the reasons I like going to Belvedere Eye Center. She is a professional who cares about her patients. I won’t let one bad incident deter me from not returning.
