It's one of my favorite spots.  Peaceful and serene. Plenty of parking.  Love it.

This pavilion has a large flat grass area in the front of it which would be perfect for family reunions, baby showers, and parties. It is close to the size of a football field. It is never crowded here. There are a lot of trash cans set up in the pavilion and clean picnic tables. The rear of the pavilion is facing the woods where the trail to the mansion, the wagon wheel trail and a few others. Its about a 1-2 min walk from the main parking lot but I have seen cars parked in the field in front of the pavilion.

Quiet and out of the way.  Good scenery and ParkRun on Saturdays

I just love walking through this area of the park!  The bridge, grassy knoll, running brook, and water wheel is beautiful and serene in the morning!

Beauty full place by all means
