Benihana

Benihana is the ultimate experience. The whole night was flavor-filled and entertaining from beginning to end. The portions are perfect, the food is cooked right in front of you, and the chefs have a great sense of humor. The 5 course meal did not disappoint and everything down to the sauces, tea, and ice cream at the end were spectacular. My family and I are truly grateful for a wonderful evening. We will definitely come back and highly recommend to others.

The Benihana at Lombard is my favorite place to eat. I've gone there since I was a little kid, and for about 10 years the food has consistently stayed delicious. What I appreciate most about the food is the mustard sauce. It goes well with almost everything (such as the corn, vegetables, chicken, fried rice...etc). It is the reason I even go there. On top of having delicious food, it is all cooked right in front of the customers, providing for a "cozy" and unique experience. Also, because it is right in front of you, you know exactly what is being used or added to cook your food. On special occasions, the servers come together to sing happy birthday for the customer, taking a complimentary picture of the party of which they print out and insert in a well-made frame (many of which I still have today). In all, the restaurant has delicious food that cannot be compared to others. It is the first restaurant I recommend to my friends when they ask where to eat. I am 100% satisfied every time I go to Benihana.

Awesome experience. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my family after my nephews graduation. Our chef, Angel, was entertaining and interactive with everyone in our group. The dinner was well seasoned and prepared to our liking. I would definitely visit again.

The food was great and cooked how I wanted. Our chef was very entertaining. They did get one if my friend's orders wrong (fixed it after some time - gave chicken instead of shrimp) and never brought out her steamed rice. Though, myself and 3 other friend's orders were correct. I'd still recommend this restaurant!

Reservations recommended during peak hours. Lunch menu is a great value. Super family friendly. I love this place because I know everyone will have a good time. Since it is rather noisy, I like bringing the kids and besides they love the shows. Benihana is my number one choice when celebrating a family special ocassion. The grills can easily sit 10 people and you get a free photo at the end.
