Shinto Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Lounge

By far the best place I’ve been to for sushi. I come here with family every Friday evening and every time it’s great. Food is always made well and the drinks are good as well. The staff is always very friendly and they do a great job keeping the restaurant and bathrooms clean.

I have to say first 2 times appsolutly strong 4 star if not 5. Good value food was great. But 3rd time Saturday. No reservations entered in 7pm gave us 75 (8:15) minute wait I would of said WORTH it BUT looked like they were down at least 2 table chefs. Sat down at 9pm and waited till almost 10pm for first dish. Got out by 11:15 very tired. Not saying service or food wasn't to par but just didn't run as smooth as last 2 visits. Weekdays might be a better play. And defiantly call for reservations... on weekends.

We come here at the Naperville location at least 4-5 times a week. Every server we had is great. The sushi is the most freshest of any place around. They are made perfect!

Atmosphere is good. Food was ok. Very salty for hibachi. Chef was very interactive and entertaining. Price was quite high for quality of the food. Probably won't go back. Quality for value just not there.

Shintos never lets me down. I always stick with the spider roll and try a new one. It’s always been great. Service is awesome and the atmosphere is perfect. Music is a bit loud but that’s probably why you can’t hear the Fish screaming from being sliced up. Try this place and thank me later.
