A wonderful place to get lost in nature with the added bonus of an indoor nature center that's great for kids. It's so peaceful and beautiful that you'll forget that you're in the middle of a city. After my first visit I'm sure that I'll be going back.

Came with local friends, there was a children's program today and parking was at a premium. Nice boardwalks for walking and exploring the natives of the wetlands. Local residents are lucky to have such a place for them to explore

Terrific place for kids to walk around and learn hands on. Hours of operation are somewhat limited though so make sure you check to see if is open. But even when this is closed the trail is open for walking.

We had our grandsons 1 st birthday party there. Great place. Tails, adventure for all child level, bird, books, exhibition inside and out. Pleasantry of parking and close to everything.

We only got to see the visitor center but what a gem of a place to take the kids! Hands on learning and a make believe underground tunnel to explore, bird watching room complete with binoculars and books. We are going back tomorrow to check out the trails.
