Trexler Nature Preserve - MTB access

Could be 5 STARS but some of the best trails were carelessly distroyed when removing AO. I still love it at Trex and the couple of people that are volunteering their time are doing an excellent job on keeping up with the maintenance and some new ideas. Thanks JK and JH. GREAT JOBS

I recommend you bring something that's got some ground clearance. The road to the parking lot has lots a bumps, grooves, and holes. Don't bring a minivan lol.

Great trails with a good challenge for both intermediate and advanced riders. Good view of the surrounding areas now that the land has been cleared. During summer it almost feels like a Midwest state with the heat and rolling hills. The trail system has a small skills area with logs and skinnies to try as well as a few jumps too. Lots of rolling hills with winding, switchback trails to explore. There's plenty of parking but little else. No bathrooms or places to fill up on water. Bring plenty of water with you. The driveway to the parking lot isn't paved so expect deep ruts along with the steep climb. Be prepared for a fun and challenging time. Also keep a map handy.

Great views. Sharp rocks for bikers, bring tire repair.
