Berkshire Lake Campground

Keep looking for a different place to stay. Was a seasonal camper who had stayed two years. After paying my third year, the management decided to cut off my power cord to my travel trailer due to their faulty electric pedestal. When I went to the campground to connect the water and sewer that’s when I noticed the pedestal lying on the ground. I called the office and they told me to ring the maintenance man in the campground and ask him the status? Once I found him, he became aggressive blaming my two year old trailer cord for the reason and that he had to cut it and hardwire it into the pedestal? I asked him why not turn the power off and repair your pedestal, then reconnect my cord? I told him my travel trailer was only 2 years old and that when I first arrived my first season that the pedestal was loose and sparked the first time I ever plugged it in. When I asked him if that had ever been addressed he didn’t know what to say. I asked that my cord plug be repaired and that they repair the electrical pedestal. I also let them know I was very upset with them damaging my property without ever even calling me. The response I got from the owner was that they are moving my camper off the campground and would refund my money. All I wanted was them to repair the electrical pedestal and my RV’s power plug that they cut off. They moved my travel trailer after I told them not to touch and had me leave without my consent. So you can pay your rates and do nothing wrong but get kicked out for something wrong their staff does. I did get all my money back but probably to try and keep me quiet. Stay away from this place.

Always has been 5 stars for us and that is true again this weekend. Friendly staff and the campground is adding new features every year.

Berkshire is a great place to hang out. Friendly people, great food at the bar, everyone is extremely neighborly. Great place to be on OSU game day as well.
