Buckeye Lake / Columbus East KOA Holiday

Our stay thus far has been great! The cabin which looks so small is more spacious then we realized, the bathrooms very clean, the scenery quite pleasant and the events not only family friendly but very robust. We will be returning!

Just heard on Dennis Michael Lynch’s news broadcast that the guy that runs this place is completely RUDE and would not help Dennis at all (not even to supply a little wood or something) to help get his camper out of the mud. Griped at Dennis all day long. He then charged Dennis an extra $80 because Dennis had to wait for a tow truck to come. Unbelievable and UNAMERICAN!! Boo! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

We travel and stay in KOA's frequently. After seeing DMLs live video and reading the reviews left for you, we have put you on the list of places we will NOT be staying at. Deplorable way to treat your guests.

So, I reserved a campsite a month prior for an event happening in the area and the price was definitely reasonable. Then I get a call a week before hand to let me know that prices are being raised to add extra security to the campgrounds. My cost per person, I have six people, went from $44 to $102 for a three day stay. I call to dispute this claim because I had a reservation at a set price and had an invoice with a reservation fee already in place. When I call to dispute, the lady, said she was going to cancel my reservation and then hung up on me. Great doing business! Not! PS Just want to let the owners know. I did call in advance to let them know that I would be attending the music festival. The person I talked was aware of the music festival when I booked my camping spot. I asked about things like rules with alcohol and arriving after the festival was over for the day at 2am. The person I talked to seemed to be fine with the whole situation and we continued to book my camping spot. I was told by the person on the phone that they normally do not let people from the concert venue camp there, but they were willing to let us stay because it was the first year for this festival.
