Happy Hills Campground

Nice people but it seems they struggle to keep up with the needs of the campground. We paid high season rates at $61 per night but they were NOT READY for the Spring: sparse staffing at the office/store, dock not placed in the lake, pavilion floor was dirty, and the recent rains had left everything muddy and in need of much gravel. There were few level campsites and little attempt to make them so. They did bring boards and help with leveling my RV. Here's the deal-breaker for future visits: My initial booking was 6 weeks before arrival. I changed my reservations 10 minutes after that initial contact to drop one night. They held my money and gave me a credit on arrival. It does not appear they used the money for any improvements! The nice website is what they ASPIRE TO BE; not what you will find on site! Check around before you book here. You'll likely find a better value.

Owned by what seemed to be very dedicated people and the management was just as caring. Great place if your looking for a campground with primitive sites as well as sites with hook ups (water\electric). Bathrooms and showers are not only heated but also very clean. Also to top it all off the hiking with the amazing mountains for a back drop make for an awesome experience-!

Very friendly staff. When we arrived we had issues with our power. The problem was taken seriously and Darren and his employee Adam I believe was his name, worked on it until they figured it out. Easy going and pleasant to be around. Restrooms are clean and atmosphere is nice. We will stay again on our next visit! Thanks!

We originally went to Serenity Hills and while it is beautiful it was filled with RVs and we are just simple tent campers. After expecting a problem when we asked to move to Happy Hills we were instead met by Darren who graciously allowed us to move to Happy Hills in a very secluded and beautiful camping spot with no issues and full of apologies. We will definitely be coming back to this place with amazing owners!! Thankful for good people!!! :)

Great place for a family to stay. The campground was clean. We had a great time.
