2.5 of my stars are for my therapist.
Been a patient here for a while. My therapist is great, probably perfect for me, but their processes need an overhaul. Making an appointment is probably the most stressful thing about the place. Getting ahold of them to make one discourages the act. Trying to get your own documents/files is like pulling teeth, because they aren't equipped to do things like scanning, faxing, or e-mailing even the most basic of documents (or so they say, but apply some pressure and magically they conjure a fax machine). If you owe them money, you'll never know. I was once submitted to collections for an appointment I apparently needed to pay extra on, when I had been there twice a week for months during the entire process. Not once during check-out did they tell me I owed this money, never received a letter from them, yet all of a sudden my credit is hurt and my phone is blowing up.
From a psychiatric help standpoint, my therapist cares deeply and you can see she loves her work. But her notwithstanding, the place is expensive, unreliable, and just down-right pretty bad.

These people do not care about mental health. If you miss three appointments, they discharge you. This is a fine way of treating an already underserved population.

My daughter and wife are patients at the practice and they have been great. The office staff are very pleasant and are sticklers for HIPPA guidelines. While this can sometimes be annoying, it does matter. The therapists are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen therapists who seem to want to only be there for a paycheck, but not in this office. They really care.

Office does not pick up phone, EVER. Even if you're a patient, you call and had to leave a msg... For an appt, to reschedule, to refill a Rx, or even if you have serious questions about your medications. They take several hours to call back. If you're Dr doesnt work that day, a nurse will not call back. If you miss their call, you have to call back and leave a msg and wait for them to call you again.
It's very frustrating and very unprofessional
