Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems

We have been having a great experience here. My child has had 5 psychiatrists and Dr Burman surpasses them all. He was great with my child, and talks to and with his patients, not "at" them. He is also open to reducing medications to only the level the patient truly needs. Furthermore, the medical assistant Ashley was of immense help to me with a medication error that was likely my own fault, she went above her duties to fulfill my request and was very efficient. I'm thinking we will continue to have a positive experience here, unlike the other behavioral health systems we have tried.

They are horrendous. They don't work with single working parents. They expect one to come 30 min before the actual appointments. And if you are a little late, ypu won't be seen. It's crazy. Let's hope they won't be late for their medical appointments cause Kharma might happen. Now I have to deal with an ADHD teen without meds. Thank you, Holcomb for being so understanding of a hardworking divorced mother, who doesn't live in a 2 parent household with 2 cars. Unreal.
