Best Friends Pet Hotel

OVERCHARGED without trsnsparency. $43 extra dollars on a 5 day stay including a bath and when I informed them that I would no longer be bringing my dog there for Thur/Fri day camp and requested removal of my credit card from there system, not only was I charged an extra day, but they never bothered to confirm deletion of the card. I have never really had issue with the care/treatment of my dog, but the business practices they operate by are shady at best. Poorly run from a managerial/operational side, but staff always seemed friendly and caring. Beware of long check ins in the mornings, seems like only a select few are trained on the transactional side, I'll be going back to my dog walker and spending a little more to avoid having to comb through every charge and be delayed in the morning.

When I first investigated Best Friends it seemed like a great fit for the week I was going to be on vacation. Everyone was super nice and the facility seemed clean. When I dropped off my cat everything seemed good! A couple of days later I received an email that was a "check in" which has a picture of another cat attached. I should have known then. When i went to go pick up my cat the cage wreaked of urine and it was very clear that they DID NOT CLEAN THE LITTERBOX THE WHOLE WEEK HE WAS THERE. He smelt terrible but I was hoping that was the end of it. When we got him home he wasn't acting himself and starting vomiting and just showing signs of un-wellness. I brought him to the vet and they found out he got a UTI. Absolutely disgusting that an animal boarding facility can't even take care of a cat! All you have to do is change the litter and feed them! I would have been better off leaving him alone the whole week by himself- that essentially the same care he received here! Never again.

I was nervous to board my pets before I found Best Friends Sudbury, I left my dogs and cat here over the weekend, staffed seemed to remember my dogs and cat from the first stay and show them attentive care! I loved recieving the pictures of them playing in camp and I love that I can live stream their play online! Front desk staff was very helpful and plesant, quick check in and check out A coupon was used, grooming went fabulous as well my pets love coming to Best Friends every time! Can’t find a better boarding facility! Thank you Best Friends for all that you do. -

Had a poor experience but corporate does care and seems the location is being proactive to correct the issues I commented on. Will raise this review to 5 stars once I see all is back to how Best Friends is expected to run.

terriblly organized. dog did not recieve what i payed for. Dogs are commonly injured or worse here. If you love your dag take them somewhere else. Not worth the prices at all.
