Our first trip to New Orleans. This hotel was a great choice! We are diamond select members of Best Western, we always try to book at BW. As said, this hotel was great. The courtyard is beautiful and the pool is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and the beds are extremely comfortable.. Perfect location for everything we wanted to see in the French Quarter. The staff wast very friendly and helpful with directions and places to eat and things see. We enjoyed breakfast, the food was good and a nice selection eggs, potatoes, sausage, grits, bagels, cereal etc. And the breakfast staff was very friendly. Ray at the front desk was extremely helpful in helping us figure out how to get to the airport at 3:30am! We will definitely stay at this hotel every time we return to New Orleans. We are already planning a return trip, hopefully during New Years.
The staff at this hotel is top notch! Tracy, at the front desk, has been employed here for 40 years. She was kind, warm, and offered advice on where to go. The rooms were clean, a tad small, but that is the norm in the Quarter. We had a courtyard view and it was full of beautiful trees, and lush plants, and a pool. The breakfast is probably the best free buffet you could ask for. One day we had a Cajun breakfast and all the other breakfast items sausage, oatmeal, waffle maker, cereal, etc; the second day was biscuits and gravy. So much food and variety. I would stay here again! I wish it was a bit closer to the heart of the quarter, but it was quiet and peaceful.
I stayed at this place for two nights. Two different rooms. Just out of convenience. After the second night I switched hotels. Although the rooms are decent, They are dirty. There was dust everywhere. On the TV, headboard, underneath the luggage bench, and last but not least the air conditioning heating units were caked with dust. The only reason why I stayed there was because it was actually right down the block from where I had to be. Although the building does look nice and the courtyard looks beautiful they really do need to look into the cleaning methods of their cleaners. I did ask the cleaning girl to come in she gave it a quick sweep when I went back in there was still dust underneath the luggage bench. I wish I took a picture of it because I'm not talking about a little bit. I will say the people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.
Beautiful hotel. Great location. Sadly, the water pressure was low and the drains were very slow. Otherwise, highly recommended. Three stories with an elevator. Gorgeous courtyard. Has an outdoor pool! Free breakfast in the mornings were excellent.. lots to choose from.Rooms: 4/5
Great location. Staff was wonderful. David I believe, I'm awful remembering names I'm sorry checked me in on a priceline reservation which some times can be a hassle. He was super quick and efficient. Went through every very fast but thoroughly which is much appreciated after hours of airport delays and a much later arrival than anticipated. All of my questions were answered patiently. The courtyard and pool are a sanctuary. I door dash my dinner and eat out in the garden. Bus pick up is just shortly down the road. Bourbon street is about a 10 minute walk. My beds were comfy, clean and fluffy pillows. The room was clean and cozy. My only complaints are the room had a bit of a smell and the lamp where it switches on and off are broken. Room 214 will stay here again and recommend to everyone. There is also a parking area if you are driving
The room was disgusting. The mattress was bloodstained, I stayed in room 304. I was only there for less than 5 hours and did not get in the bed but it was gross. The tub was disgusting and old. The tub was disgusting and yellow, they placed a mat in the tub that I’m most certain they do not lift to clean under. It was humid and smelled of mildew in the halls. The entire hotel honestly needs to be demolished and redone from top to bottom. The overall room and hotel was gross which is why I quickly left once day broke. Kim was amazing though and very accommodating for my very late arrival.
We previously had a terrible experience at the first place we booked… the place was dirty, dusty, things were broken, cigarette buds everywhere you name it. We were so discouraged but walking into the Best Western Plus on Rampart totally turned our trip around. We had the privilege of meeting an amazing receptionist by the name of Darlene. She not only took care of our reservation, but made sure we had a GREAT room with a view as well as immediately helping with our plans for our stay. We were first timers in NOLA and had a basic idea of where to go but she guided us further. We cannot say thanks enough to the Best Western and especially to Darlene. You truly have an angel working for you. HIGHLY recommend this location to first timers in NOLA.
Old but quaint property. Very clean room, very comfortable bed. Well kept property. Very friendly staff and service, not a far walk to Bourbon Street. The pool was awesome after walking around nice to cool off . We would stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
This place was amazing and I am so bummed that it was only for a night. Within wash king distance of the French quarter but far enough not to be disturbed by any noise. The court yard was stunning, breakfast was great. I would recommend this to everyone and will be staying again, hopefully longer.Rooms: 5/5
The staff was exceptionally nice. Especially Darlene. She was very pleasant and helpful. She provided information regarding tours, shopping etc and went out her way to ensure that our stay was a great one Rooms: 5/5
