Solid and reliable laundry mat. The staff is always really nice. I often drop off and they’re almost always able to turn it around the next day. When I do my own laundry, I usually don’t have an issue getting a washer and dryer.
The hours posted on the front window are wrong. But the actual hours and last wash time are nowhere to be found. They seem to be completely arbitrary, as I’ve attempted to wash here unsuccessfully a number of times. The woman running the place seems genuinely perplexed and dismissive that that is a problem. She referenced the pandemic on one occasion, but I dare say they’ve had ample time to update the hours, even with a temporary sign. Save yourself the hassle, and go elsewhere if you can.
I never leave one star reviews. I walked in at 8:50 to do a load of laundry, which would have been done WELL before their 11:00 closing time. They refused me and told me it was too late to do laundry, yet they have no "last load" time posted. The woman at the counter seems cold and unfriendly, and seemed annoyed when I asked her how long the washer ran for. Overall, it's a miserable place and I simply can't recommend it.
I really love this place and especially the women that work here. But I just dragged all my laundry here, over 50lbs. And they’re closed. They said they close at 8pm during the COVID-19 pandemic. But it was 7:45pm and it was shuttered completely. I have another massive bag of laundry inside that I need to pick up. If you’re reading your reviews. PLEASE contact me! I need to know when you’ll be open. I need to pick up my laundry.
I've never used their drop off service but going here the past 2 years I've still had my ups and downs. They recently changed their quarter machines to a service that uses a card to tap for payment. Know before you go here to have $2 on hand because that's how much it costs to buy a new card, I think it's definitely wasteful. Not to mention washing clothes here is already pricey. Overall the place is okay but kind of dirty. The ladies who work there are always folding laundry so it takes some time to get their attention or help you out which is frustrating. At the end of the day my clothes always get clean and that's why I keep going.
My boyfriend dropped off two bags of laundry just to "try the place around the corner". We were told we could pick up in 24 hours. Waited 36 hours, only to be told it wasn't done yet. Picked up at the 72 hour mark. Once I got home I discovered my whites were missing. I called, and basically got a "what do you want me to do about it?" reaction. My boyfriend walked in there and they 'found' them. However, upon opening that bag, I was HORRIFIED to see my DIRTY undies, sorted and folded right there on top of the rest of my supposedly "clean" laundry. Services were trash. I would never take my laundry back there.
Clean, well run, laundromat. A bit busy, and not enough driers, especially with about 25% out of order, and the ladies who run the drop off service have a monopoly on them. Spent about 30m waiting to get a drier. The soap machine ate my quarters, buy one of the ladies running the place got me one out of the machine. At first she looked at me like o was crazy, like she had never heard of the machine doing that, but she had the soap retrieval down to a T so I think that was a bit of acting. Anyway, it's a safe, clean, well run place, other than that. I've been in plenty worse laundromats than this.
It's the best in the neighborhood—clean, bright, & open late*. They offer drop-off service, and if you're lucky, same day service*. Most of the women working are very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to wait during peak hours/days. *Depending on who is working, you may be turned away before the last wash an hour before closing; same goes for same day service.
Fair prices, long hours. Weekends are busy. Spanish tv always on. Nice employees. I use this place once every other week. Machines eat your money on occasion but the employees always refund you.
Small washers are $2.75 per load, medium are $3.75 and the large ones are $5.75. Dryers are a quarter per 7 minutes. There's not a lot of seats so odds are you won't get one. There is a change machine, but it's super picky about which direction you insert the bills. They also have a detergent/bleach dispenser, which is probably overpriced.
