There's a lot to look at in this place. Huge selection of tea, candy, spices and kitchen items. Produce is hit or miss, great for greens and fresh herbs, decent fruit selection. It's a little run down and could definitely use some cleaning otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.
Very good prices and array of fruits and veg, both typical grocery store fare and Asian specialty produce. Meat is cheap. You can get live fish and shellfish. It can be hard to find things due to the language barrier with the staff but I don't fault them for that.
There is a good selection of your typical asian produce, meats, snacks, random kitchenware. Be sure to check items for expiration date and mold before purchasing, as you should with all asian stores around here. Out of the 5 or so Asian grocery stores in the area, this is the cleanest and most stocked. The other Vietnamese grocery store is being renovated and Chinatown always smells like...well, what I imagine China to smell like.
This supermarket has everything an American needs to understand Oriental and African cuisine. Live fish and eels. An exciting array of spices and vegetables. Fresh fruit. Coffees and teas. Moderately priced also.
This is a great place to shop for fresh seafoods and hard chicken if you're tired of regular store chicken. The customer service horrible though, i must warn you. Some of them speak Chinese to you as though you are expected to communicate with them in Chinese. Some of the men at the frozen food aisle are so rude and very disrespectful towards blacks.you can here them curse at you in their language and talks back at you even when you are only asking simple question. I think it is a disgrace that they have a store where all they speak is asian language. I really don't blame them though, blacks shouldn't be shopping at places like this. The store is dirty and hygienic. Hate the fact that I drove my car there and spent my money at this place. Looking forward to when department of public health and safe food handling would shut this place down. It's a disgrace,
Smells like fish inside, some produce quality is questionable but still it is cheep and has a good variety. Im a vegitarian so i cant say fot the meat and fish quality. I go there often because I can get things there i can't find elsewhere like certain mushrooms, bamboo, seaweed, and rice cakes.
I wish I could give them 0 stars. Actually I should call department of health AND police. Cashier rung up multiple items 2-4 times when I only bought one. Then I had to fight with them to get half my money back. They were talking to each other in Cantonese not knowing I can speak Cantonese.
This great little Asian supermarket is a bit out of the way but nestled up against one of the best banhmi spots in the city. Produce is reasonably fresh and very cheap, and lots of Asian snacks and sauces as well.
The place is nice, clean and bright. The products are easy to find, good price and good quality. Customer service is great and helpful. Great experience for shopping there. We are happy and satisfied. We will definitely go back again.
Asian market. No one speaks English well. Meat, fish, and veggies are *really* cheap. Pretty much every asian ingredient you'd need is here. Go with an open mind, and you'll have fun exploring. Don't go expecting a Trader Joe's kind of experience.
