Big Beat Music Studio and School of Music

My nephew takes guitar classes here. I know that he loves it. He's been taking lessons for a few years and he is pretty good for a kid. Actually, really good. I finally went to see him perform the school's Annual Showcase. Boy was I blown away by the whole thing. The kids are great and the whole showcase was well put together and really cute. Congratulations to this great school and how they are inspiring so many young people.

This is definitely the place to come for musical instruction. Whether you are learning to read music, play in a band, or just rock out to your favorite kind of music. Joe has top notch instructors with a valuable education behind them. I've been playing drums for 10 years with Joe and has been phenomenal with the amount of knowledge that he gives in only a half-hour lesson. Joe's studio has nothing but the best equipment. Sound activated lights on the drum set which help the students figure the right combination and order to play alongside with their music. Joe is all about visual. He loves doing what he does and enjoys seeing smiles on his students faces when they receive an "A stamp" for all their hard work. Having set up a Rock Band game that students love to play along with their favorite song. A great way to learn! Joe and his staff are extremely patient and will help the student which ever way they can. Big Beat's Annual Showcase is definitely one-of-a-kind. Joe and his staff always do a fantastic job setting this up. He hires a sound man to record the students performance and just does a phenomenal job putting everything together. Joe is definitely an "idea" kind of person. Always coming up with new ways to help the student understand their music better. Putting all of his energy into doing what is possible for his students to do the best they can. His staff, including the receptionists, always have a great attitude and are always on the UP-BEAT. Always willing to help the student any way they can to get the job done. The receptionist is always working alongside with Joe to help coordinate cancellations or extending a lesson. Truly - a GREAT TEAM! If you want top-notch music instruction with a great staff- this is the place to come!

After taking drum lessons from Joe for many years, I can say that big beat is fantastic. The instructors and staff are great, and they do an amazing job with the annual showcase where students can perform. The lessons are fun and interactive with lights, bubbles and even tv screens. Big Beat has been around for over 30 years, and I can see why.

This music studio is spacious. We can move freely. The owners are so flexible. They even agreed to extend beyond their operaring hours with no extra charge for overtime use.
