Zen Music Center

My daughter has been attending Zen Music Center for 2 years now, studying piano. Starting at only age 4 1/2, she began with the basics and is playing so beautifully now! She has already played at four recitals and the preparation for the recitals has encouraged her self-expression and self-discipline. The teachers at Zen work so hard for their students and it shows through the progress my daughter is making. She looks forward to her weekly lessons and is constantly encouraged and praised for her efforts, while getting the gentle pushes she needs to keep her focused and learning. I would recommend Zen Music Center for anyone wanting to learn an instrument!

Our daughter has been learning piano at Zen Music Center for over a year. With the patients of her teacher, she was able to start from knowing nothing about music to reading the notes and counting beats. Even though her songs sound basic, we feel proud of our daughter that she can play a piece of the song by herself. Another advantage of going to Zen Music Center is, we can shop for groceries while she is in class. :)

My son has been learning Piano for the past few years. He started at Zen Music Center a year ago. We can see a drastic improvement in his scales, notes and singing (aural), et al. Paul and Hannah (his teachers) have made the additional effort to give him the additional soft nudge and that’s helped him a great lot. They constantly measure his performance on a week by week basis which gives us an important input on which area and how much he needs to additionally practice and focus on One additional thing that impressed us with Zen Music Center’s approach is the recitals – this provides a platform for kids to overcome their fear with a public performance. It has been a rewarding experience for us as parents and especially for our kid who wants to continue his Piano learning journey with Zen Music Center Our intent to register our second kid at Zen Music Center speaks for itself. Zen Music Center is a great place for career focused musicians and in addition to music, the school and his teachers have focused on improving his self-confidence, ability to self-express and more importantly the practice to perfect discipline Overall, we made a great choice by enrolling our kid at Zen Music Center and it was the right one too !!!

I have been taking piano classes here for a few years, and I feel that I have improved greatly in my piano playing. I recommend the Zen Music Center for all musicians, whether they are just starting or have been playing an instrument for a long time.
