We called through on a Friday evening and were pleasantly suprised to get a table for four in the dining room without a long wait. The food isn't cordon bleu, but it's good, unfussy, well prepared comfort food - perfect for a hungry family, with several options for less hungry, adults, or those having to watch their diets. Service was quick and competent. The place has a pleasant buzz, but you can still have a conversation at your table without having to shout. If we lived round here, we'd be back.

As a former employee, and very much so a happy customer, Big Chief Roadhouse is nothing short than a MASTERPIECE. The food has always been on point, the staff have always been to work with and be around. As previously stated, a true masterpiece; if you're in town and have never tried Big Chief, then you'd best make it a stop on your To-Do list for your time in STL.

Good service, nice waiter, Chris. But have been there at times when a couple of waitresses are gruff, hurried and not so friendly. Great teriyaki chicken pizza. Sat outdoors. Like the old Route 66 atmosphere.

Nice local place, not a chain. Old Manchester near Pond Road, just a short distance off 100. American food, some interesting items on a full, varied menu. Apps, soups and salads, burgers and sandwiches, entrees. Smoked meatloaf on Sundays (mmm!). Comfortable atmosphere. Bar area separated from the dining room, so it works as a family place. Large enclosed outdoor seating area, as well. Moderate prices.
