Get the two house wines and the salatas.  One plate of everything they have...  And, you will learn this kitchen makes NO mistakes.  Dinner best, very reasonable.  Intimate, friendly.  No masking with too much garlic.  All good and fresh.

Southern Italian food.  Probably the best food I've had since meeting to Saint Louis three years ago.  Everything fresh and locally sourced.  Very small kitchen but the chef obviously knows what he is doing.  Service is very knowledgeable and attentive.

I have been to Peno’s several times now and the food never fails to impress. The Italian Divorce soup is hands down my favorite and if it’s on the menu be sure to order it. In summer months the Panzanella is to die for. If you are looking for some great Italian inspired food, stop looking, make a reservation and head down to Clayton.
