Great venue for more intimate shows! We saw YOT Club and Vansire there on 07/19 and it was one of the better show experiences I’ve had! Place was super convenient to get to, parking was a breeze, staff was very friendly, and the overall vibe of the night was great. I hope I can see another show here soon.
Been to several shows here. Historic venue with tons of memorabilia on the walls and autographs on ceiling. Great sounds. Nice staff.
Absolutely amazing venue let you get so close to the bands and finally got to see one of my favorite artists play
Love this bar, great bands, great atmosphere. Always a good time
A bar with a radio problem. Hell yeah it is! This place is awesome. They have awesome drinks and even better live music! This place is so catering to the columbus community offering a place to go and hang out and offering a place for up and coming bands to play! Owned by local legend Randy Malloy this is a go to spot in Columbus. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 is because there's no AC in the bar lol
Pretty cool place for a concert! My partner E Money isn't the biggest fan of pop punk/alternative, but I think they could get behind a night out at the big ro bar!
I love it here! One of the best spots for local band play. Spacious venue with plenty of room for fans to stand or a pit to break out as well as places to sit and enjoy if you are down... So far as I have experienced the sound is on of the best in CBus. Balanced and clear and loud enough. Priced are average and staff are really cool. Went to see Something Else, an band who just dropped their first EP and the show blew me away. Big Room Bar attracts talent and trendy and makes it a great night for all who show.
Lemme go in chronological order here… 1. Easy to get to, amazing parking 2. People at doors were awesome, re entry allowed 3. Small venue for more intimate shows the best 4. Staff was so good it’s unbelievable thank you Randy, Russ and Captn Morgan y’all need a raise 5. Great sound and setup Will definitely be coming back again, no doubt!
enjoyed the show i saw at big room but because they have no bike parking i am forced to leave a one star review. would reconsider if they add bike parking. *edit* in response to the owner’s snarky reply, i have provided a picture of what i assume they’re insisting is bike parking, but is actually a railing.
They literally ran out of liquor during the show but other than that we had a great time. This is my favorite local venue for live music.
